Welcome to Hycottage Farm. We are the Davis family. Although our farmstead is just a little over 6 acres here in central Ohio, we pack in a lot of fun!

Whether we are waiting for chicks to hatch, milking, feeding goats, or checking new baby bunnies, there is always something to keep us busy. Farming offers so many learning opportunities. Each project builds on another and adds to our encyclopedia of experience. 

Over the years our projects have grown and shifted with our experience. Craig and I both grew up raising and showing livestock in 4-H. I, Becky, spent many hours with my brother, helping on my Grandfather's dairy farm and raising and training horses. Craig and I wanted to raise our children with the same opportunities to enjoy God's amazing creation that we had. On our farmstead we have worked together to garden, raise rabbits, chickens, meat and dairy goats, horses, Brown Swiss cows, lots of cats, and our dogs are beside us every step of the journey.

Through our time volunteering as a Guardian Home for breeder dogs with 4 Paws for Ability, we have grown a passion for therapy and service animals. Scotch Collies fit so well with our pursuit of farming and our desire to raise dogs that have the versatility to also serve in a therapy role.
