Week 5 was full of adventure!

Week 4 was so much fun!

A tribute to a touching friendship.

Time slips by so fast when I reach the halfway point in a litter.

When the puppies are in their fourth week there are so many changes and activities it can make my head spin.

I completely understand Puppy-Fever. So, without further ado I will present a video update for week 3.

One of the traditions we have established with the last few litters is making prints of their paws on a card to send home with their new families.

By the end of week-one, they have had hours and hours of rich nourishment from mama and they look more like a plumpy burrito with legs.

I love spending time sitting in the whelping box and soaking in the warm snuggles and puppy breath.

This is an experimental exercise, but I hope that it will have profitable results for the puppies’ comfort in car travel as they get older.

I was intrigued by the change in dynamic. Cricket was not domineering the game or giving resource guarding signals, the shift was all by Watson’s choice. He was intentionally letting Cricket win.

We are excited to introduce each puppy in the 2022 Hero Dogs litter. Choosing a theme for each litter helps us group the puppies in our records and also keeps us closely connected to them while they are growing with us.
